ARTS229 — Photography II

This studio art course will emphasize the philosophical and technical relationship between the camera and the computer. Cameras, scanners, image processing software and digital printers will be used to create expressive work. Students will explore the historical, formal and conceptual aspects of photography and develop ideas and images through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, reading and writing assignments, projects and critiques. It is expected that the students will spend additional time outside of class completing course assignments. Pre-requisite(s): ARTS 129 Photography I Lab fee will be required Terms pring Distance Learning: No SUNY General Education Designation(s): Arts Lecture: 2 Lab: 4
