CISS245 — Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity
This course introduces ethical hacking to students. Students will learn the many different ways hackers infiltrate networks and applications and will experiment with the cybersecurity tools used to ethically breach networks and applications. Students will be exposed to the vast breadth of tools available to exploit and defend networks. There will be a focus on ethics including the laws and regulations that govern systems and data for healthcare, government and financial entities. Pre-requisite(s): CISS 100 Introduction to Computing and Information Sciences , CISS 109 Python Programming OR CISS 110 Programming and Logic I , and CISS 120 Networking I- Intro to Data Communication Pre- or co- requisite(s): CISS 125 Computer and Information Security Terms pring Distance Learning: No Lecture: 4
