CVIT264 — Cardiovascular Interventional Technology II
This course provides students with a theoretical and practical knowledge of interventionalprocedures. It will include an overview of the Seldinger technique of vascular access forvascular procedures and examine the history that led to its development. Course content alsoprovides an overview of vascular correlation and surgical/ interventional repair for specificcongenital and acquired diseases. The content presents a systematic approach to thetechniques and procedures technologists use in the performance of select cardiac-interventional procedures.
