ELET102 — Introduction to Instrumentation and Troubleshooting

This course provides students with a foundation of basic technician concepts. It introduces typical instrumentation and the necessary principles of troubleshooting electronic circuits. Instrumentation topics include multimeters, oscilloscopes, LCR meters, continuity testers, power supplies, function generators and soldering/desoldering equipment. Troubleshooting topics include methodology, safety, circuitry faults, proper removal/installation of components and boards and schematic reading. all. A lab fee will be required. Pre- or co- requisite(s): ELET 100 Electricity I Lab fee will be required. Terms all Distance Learning: No Lab: 3
