This course introduces the paramedic student to pharmacology needed to understand and administer common prehospital medications. This course will cover pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug administration, dosage calculations, pharmacological terminology, drug legislation, and drug references. Open only to matriculated Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic students. Pre- or co- requisite(s): EMSP 202 Intro to Paramedicine with a final grade of “C” or better.
