This is the first in a series of medical courses that cover the pulmonary system and introduces cardiac monitoring. During the pulmonary section the students will learn to develop a tentative diagnosis for the pulmonary condition and through critical thinking, will devise a treatment plan for the patient. The cardiac section of the course will cover the placement of monitoring electrodes and the conduction system of the heart as well. Open only to matriculated Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic students. Lab fee will be required Terms all Distance Learning: Yes Lecture: 2.5 Lab: 1
