ENGL137 — Writing for The Media
This course introduces students to the diverse styles of writing for the media. Students will produce texts appropriate for a variety of media outlets including print media, broadcast media, the web, social media, and public relations. The history and laws related to mass media will also be covered. NOTE: It is recommended that if a student takes ENGL 130, it is completed before taking ENGL 137. The two courses should not be taken simultaneously.
