ENGR223 — Thermal Fluid Science

This is a first course in standard thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer intended for all students of engineering. Students will gain a basic understanding of energy interactions, heat transfer mechanisms and the fundamentals of fluid flow. Students will not receive credit for both ENGR 222 and ENGR 223. NOTE: A graphing calculator may be required and will be discussed in class. Pre- or co- requisite(s): ENGR 210 Engineering Statics and Strength of Materials or ENGR 211 Engineering Statics .
