This internship provides students with the opportunity to work and observe professional employment in the history field. Through placements in museums, curation labs, historic sites or historical societies, students will gain practical experience as a historian. This course may be repeated for credit provided students participate in different internship placements. The course is typically or three credits, but students may earn up to 12 credits under certain circumstances with permission of faculty and the department chair. • 200A Archives • 200B Public History • 200C Museum or Historical Site • 2000 Other Internship Permission of the department chairperson and instructor. Terms all, Spring to 12 Other: 30 to 150 hour practicum

Prerequisites: HIST100, HIST101, HIST110, HIST111
