MATH181 — Honors Calculus I
This course emphasizes the theory underlying Calculus along with a level of rigor and depth that will exceed that of the traditional Calculus sequence. Topics may include, but are not limited to: limits, continuity, differentiation and integration of elementary (algebraic and transcendental) functions, proofs, curve sketching, applied optimization, related rates, rectilinear motion, area under a curve, area between two curves, solving basic differential equations, and applications. NOTE: This course satisfies the Calculus I requirement. Credit can only be received for one the following: MATH 180 Calculus I, .
