MCTS100 — Introduction to Mechatronics

This course prepares students for a career in mechatronics. It provides essential information and hands-on skills in mechanical, electrical and control technology. Additional topics covered include Industry 4.0 and sensor fundamentals. Students will develop competencies to operate and maintain actuators, controls, electricity, pneumatics and sensors. Students will also gain fundamental STEM skills utilizing real-world automation trainers, which provide a hands-on approach to becoming proficient technicians.
