MCTS101 — Mechanical Processes and Specifications

This course is a study of basic mechanical components, equipment and tools commonly encountered in the field of mechatronics. Students will gain knowledge and experience with measurement, basic hand tools, materials, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical assembly procedures and professional research. Additionally, troubleshooting techniques will be introduced for identifying and resolving mechanical faults. Preventative maintenance methods and mechanical component safety will be emphasized.
