MCTS115 — Industrial Electricity and Electronics

This course provides insight into the various components, devices and machines used in modern automation systems along with a study of their related electronics. The course also covers the construction, operation, maintenance and applications of transformer, power distribution and alternating current motors and provides an introduction to basic motor control circuitry. Pre-requisite(s): MCTS 105 AC/DC Electrical Fundamentals and MATH 150 College Algebra with Trigonometry Lab fee will be required Terms pring Distance Learning: No Lecture: 5 Lab: 4
