PHED144 — Weight Lifting
This course is designed to introduce students to safely develop an understanding of and proficiency in the activities of free-weight lifting and functional training. The methods and safety procedures, along with the value of weightlifting in maintaining and/or improving an individual’s fitness level will be stressed. Various training systems will be introduced to emphasize strength, power, hypertrophy, and muscular endurance. Terms all, Spring, Summer Distance Learning: No Lecture: 2
