Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Techniques
In the Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Techniques program, students will learn to solve routine heating, refrigeration and air conditioning (HVACR) problems and perform calculations by applying the fundamentals of mathematics and physics. Students will also learn how to work effectively with HVACR professionals, co-workers and customers. Coursework includes instruction in safety and all applicable acts, regulations, legislation and codes to ensure personal and public safety. Students will learn to use hand tools and operate test equipment.
