CHM 1120 — Introductory Chemistry
This course examines definitions, history, and theories of chemistry. Topics include atomic theory, bonding, mole concept, and stoichiometry. Also discussed are gas laws, solutions, and acid-base equilibrium. The course is recommended for non-science majors, nursing and allied health majors. Science credit is not granted for both CHM 1120 and CHM 1130.
