CMI 2270 — Mine Rescue Training I

The U.S. Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires, with few exceptions, that every operator of an underground mine establish "at least two mine rescue teams" and that each team member and alternate be "fully qualified, trained, and equipped to provide emergency mine rescue service" (Part 49. 2 (a) (1) and (b)). This course is designed to meet or exceed the requirements of Title 30, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 49, which pertain to the training of these rescue teams and their personnel. Lecture.
