CMT 1205 — Introduction to Surface Mining
Lectures emphasize safety of individual miners. Coal formation, extraction, and methods of surface mining are included. Field trips to surface mines are planned. One-half to one credit will be awarded each time student successfully completes the course. Total number of credits that may be applied to a degree shall be three credits. Lecture. Variable.
