GEN 1110 — Leadership Development
This course will prepare students to successfully engage with their fellow students in a mentoring capacity, as well as prepare students to be present and future leaders in their school and community. This will be achieved by introducing students to the key characteristics of an effective leader, increase effective communication skills, instruct students on the importance of and how to demonstrate empathy, construct and implement a community service project, as well as serve as a role model for mentees.
