GEN 2298 — Capstone for Honors
Course explores a topic related to the future student course of study. Students will create a portfolio in Canvas digital learning management system. Honors advisor supervises the work. Class may be online, face-to-face, or independent study. Honors students use Canvas LMS to create, preserve and showcase their Honors Portfolios. The portfolios will contain Honors projects, essays or journals referencing honors seminars students have attended, overviews and outcomes of service learning, and completed honors projects, as well as, recognition and accomplishments within the college and community. Students must submit an Honors Project Proposal Form for all projects and activities they wish to include in their portfolio. Deadline for Honors Project Proposals is one week after semester midterm.
