HEA 1228 — Human Pathophysiology

This course focuses on the common diseases of each body system as encountered by healthcare professionals in various healthcare settings. Emphasis is placed on understanding the etiology (cause), signs and symptoms, diagnostic tests, and treatment (including pharmacologic) of each disease on the human body. This is a non-lab course that is intended for individuals who intend to work as a non-clinical allied health professional. A science background is not needed to be successful in this course.

Prerequisites: HEA 1225, HEA 1226
