HLT 1204 — Health Careers Skills
This course is designed to provide a core of knowledge related to skills utilized in many health occupations. Students will gain skills that would enable a person to give proper immediate care to those who have been injured or suddenly become ill, until competent medical care can be obtained. It will include how to recognize a serious medical emergency and knowledge of how to get help. First aid and CPR skills will be emphasized. Demonstration of skills will be required for completion for course.
