INM 1215 — CPT Maintenance Awareness
Students are introduced to the technical aspects of industrial production equipment. This course focuses on awareness of how the various parts of an automated machine operate to provide basic repair and maintenance knowledge. Quality improvement, lean manufacturing, and preventative maintenance come into play with proven standards such as 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
