MTH 1100 — Statistics Lab
This course presents skills necessary to be successful in MTH 1131 Statistics. It is taught concurrently with MTH 1131. The course will integrate MTH 1131 course content with instruction in study skills, reading and understanding the textbook, and critical thinking skills. Topics studied to enhance these skills will be understanding and manipulating formulas; logic; sets of numbers; percents; an introduction to real numbers by performing order of operations on integers, fractions, and decimals; an introduction to algebra by solving linear equations and inequalities in one and two variables.
