NUR 1205 — Transition to Nursing

The course is designed to orient advanced placement students Associate Degree Nursing Program. The course introduces the philosophy and curriculum design of the nursing program. Emphasis is placed on roles of the Associate Degree Nurse and the activities of these roles. Essential knowledge and skills related to drug administration are reviewed. Other content requirements are individualized based on evaluation of student transcript.
