NUR 1210 — Nursing Strategies for Success
Designed to develop learning skills to promote retention and success in nursing. Strategies are provided to develop goals and desired outcomes, prioritize, and manage time to be effective in college and in nursing. Topics include: identification of college and career goals; introduction to college resources; implementation of study and test taking strategies with a focus on retention and application of concepts. Additional topics include: development of life management skills including: time management, value clarification, communication and interpersonal relationships, and stress management.
