NUR 2211 — Nursing Pharmacology II
The purpose of this course is to continue pharmacological knowledge of nurses administering medications to clients. This course will focus on the cognitive skills necessary for the safe administration of medications. Application to the clinical laboratory will be included. Topics to be discussed include: pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacotherapeutics, adverse drug reactions and the therapeutic effects of major drug classifications on the body.
