DLA 2205 — Expanded Functions I

This course is designed to acquaint the student with expanded functions such as, coronal polishing, placing sealants, applying topical anesthetic, application of topical fluorides, and monitoring the patient during Nitrous Oxide. The student will have developed the knowledge necessary to participate in Community Dentistry. This course will prepare the student to take the CPFDA exam and become a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
