GEL 1008 — Physical Geology

An introduction to the study of the earth as it is carried on by geologists. Geological principles and processes dealing with mineral and rock identifications, plate tectonics, crust deformation by folding, faulting, and volcanism, and landforms produced by erosional agents are some of the topics covered.
