This is an introductory course dealing with an analysis of the political, economic, social and cultural events and achievements of Western Civilization. The course begins with early man and ends with the Middle Ages. Special emphasis will be placed on early man, Sumer, Egypt, Greece, Rome and the Middle Ages.
