HIS 1001 — History of Western Civilization II

This is an introductory course that deals with an analysis of the political, economic, social and cultural events and achievements of Western Civilization. The course begins with the Renaissance and ends with the aftermath of World War II. Special emphasis will be placed on such developments of the Renaissance, the Reformation, The Enlightenment, the French Revolution, World War I, World War and its aftermath.
