ACCT 1BH — MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING HONORS
This course covers information used by managers to plan, direct operations, control costs, and make decisions focusing on manufacturing and service-related businesses. The course stresses key managerial principles and how they are applied to decisions related to fixed vs. variable costs, cost-volume-profit relationships, fixed vs. flexible budgeting, differential analysis, and product pricing strategies. Honors course students will be taught academic research methods, determination of authoritative sources, write APA formatted papers, and give oral business presentations. Credit may be earned in either ACCT 1B or 1BH, but not both. C-ID: ACCT 120
