JA 21 — INTRODUCTION TO JAPANESE CULTURE

This course covers various aspects of Japanese culture. Areas of study include geography, history, literature, art, philosophy, religion, and customs of Japan. Students will study a variety of materials to discuss Japanese culture and its relationship to other cultures of the world. The class is taught in English, and no knowledge of Japanese is required.
