Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant Certificate program at Jackson College prepares students for entry-level positions in medical offices, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The curriculum covers clinical skills such as diagnostic and treatment procedures, and administrative skills like communication and business operations. The program includes a non-paid externship with a licensed healthcare practitioner. Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the RMA(AMT) certification exam.
