BIO 220 — Nutrition

The course is designed to explore the science of nutrition, nutrient requirements, food sources and dietary assessment and the role that nutrients play in maintaining health and physical well-being through the lifespan. The course will include the physiological functions of digestion, absorption, and metabolism of nutrients.

Prerequisites: BIO 106, BIO 111, BIO 131
