BUS 153 — Introduction to Winery Operation

This course is designed to introduce students to northern New York’s expanding wine industry. Topics covered will include a survey of existing wineries, opportunities to enter the wine industry at any level from grape growing, wine making, wholesale and retail wine distribution, through tourism development. Students will learn about the professional organizations and resources available to support grape growers and vintners.
