CRJ 120 — Serial Homicide
This course is an examination of the nature of serial killing, the offenders and their victims. Five aspects of serial homicide will be discussed. 1) The emergence of serial homicide in America; 2) the cultural, biological and psychological theories of causation; 3) victimology; 4) demographic, social and behavioral characteristics of serial killers; and 5) detection and apprehension of serial killers by law enforcement.
