CRJ 141 — Organized Crime
This course is a survey of organized Crime in America from its origins in rural and frontier America to its contemporary urban character. The succession of ethnic groups involved in organized crime in America will be studied with emphasis on the relationships among organized crime groups and to the criminal justice system. Specialized statutes enacted in response to organized crime, such as RICO, will also be studied.
