ECD 210 — Methods and Materials in Working with Exceptional Young Children

This course explores an inclusive approach to education that integrates typical children and children with special needs in early childhood care and education. The course will define the identification and development of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and Individual Education Plan (IEP) for exceptional young children and their families. Students will learn to arrange and plan the inclusive learning environment that enhances the potential of all children. This course will be useful to students of Early Childhood and Human Services.
