EDU 211 — Practicum in Education
This course, intended for students pursuing a degree in childhood education, is designed to provide a pre-student teaching field experience in a school classroom environment. Each enrolled student will spend a minimum of 30 hours working in a classroom, with substantial outside preparation and reflection expected. Each student will observe, work with individuals and small groups within the classroom and facilitate at least one large group session. Students will reflect upon their learning both orally and in writing.
