EMS 145 — Advanced EMT Field Summative Evaluation

This course provides an opportunity for the EMS student to manage patients in the pre hospital setting. Students will demonstrate competency at the level of an Advanced EMT in patient assessment, intravenous catheterization, communication techniques, trauma injury and medical emergency treatment plan formulation and implementation, as well as team leadership. The course is graded on a pass (P)/ fail (E) basis.
