FPT 109 — Fire Behavior and Combustion
This course is designed as a basic introduction to the theories and fundamentals of and why fires start, spread, and how they are controlled. The application of scientific principles and concepts associated with the chemistry and dynamics of fire are stressed. Successful completion of this course meets the requirements for the United States Fire Administration, National Fire Science Curriculum.
