FRE 121 — Elementary French 1
This humanities elective offers an introduction to the French language and French cultures. Students will practice the four basic skills of listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing with an emphasis on spoken communication. Students will also be encouraged to develop an appreciation for French cultures in this course. The course is designed for students who have no background in French. It is not open to native speakers or to students with more than two years of high school French.
