GER 221 — Intermediate German 1

This humanities course is the first half of a 2-semester sequence that continues the development from GER 122 of the four basic skills of listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing with an emphasis on communication in German. Student participation in this course will be entirely in German. A study of German cultures and customs continues to be developed in this course. New students should have completed at least four years of high school German. This course is open to native speakers.
