INT 111 — new student seminar course
The new student seminar course is designed to introduce students to the intellectual practices that are necessary for meaningful learning and academic success, facilitate a comprehensive introduction to JCC, and provide opportunities for career exploration. The class will also provide opportunities for students to become engaged members of the JCC community through curricular and co-curricular experiences and develop positive relationships with peers, faculty, and staff. Students will enroll in a class section best aligned with their professional goals, to include arts and humanities, behavioral sciences, business, education, public services, STEM, and health professions. Successful completion of INT 111 satisfies the new student orientation course that is required in Jefferson’s graduation policy.
