OFC 245 — Medical Terminology

This course is designed to teach the language of medicine to those who have elected a career in a medically-related profession. The study will include the basic structure of medical words including prefixes, suffixes, roots, combining forms, and plurals. Emphasis will be on building and understanding the professional vocabulary necessary for office employment in a medically-related field. (Fall Semester)
