PHY 143 — Science and Engineering Physics 1

This course is the first course in a three-semester sequence. This is a calculus-based approach to the physical principles required in engineering. This course emphasizes kinetics and kinematics of particles, Newton’s Laws, systems of forces, work energy, power and momentum, rotational and oscillatory motion.

Prerequisites: MTH 221, PHY 131
