PSY 235 — Psychological Disorders & Mental Health
This course examines mental health and psychological disorders through historical and contemporary perspectives. Grounded in the biopsychosocial model, students will analyze the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and sociocultural factors that influence both mental well-being and the development of psychological disorders. By integrating theory with practical applications, students will develop an understanding of mental disorders and the skills to assess the multifaceted influences on human mental health.
