174 MTH141 Precalculus 5 Prerequisites: Reading Proficiency and one of the following: • 3.25+ High School GPA, HiSET Career/College Ready level, or GED 175+ within five years • ACT Math 22+ within two years • Accuplacer: College Level Math 52+ within two years • Accuplacer Next Gen: Advanced Algebra and Functions 250+ within two years • MTH128 completed with a “C” or better Precalculus covers the College Algebra and T rigonometry topics required for the Calculus I, II, III sequence. This course fulfills the mathematics requirement for the Associate of Arts degree. Students may not apply both MTH141 and MTH133 or both MTH141 and MTH134/134H toward graduation.
