EDU 131A — Child, Family, and Community Lab
This course covers practical applications that support the healthy interactions with families and children birth through adolescence by applying principles of quality, individualized, responsive/engaging relationships and experiences. Emphasis is placed on supporting and engaging diverse families and children birth through adolescence, providing safe, warm and nurturing interactions, and the application of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and the Code of Ethics for North Carolina Educators. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the ability to engage in respectful and responsive communication, develop partnerships with children, families and communities in which they live.
